So here is what we officially know about the ps4
The PS4 will have an impressive 8 core processor; well done Sony you've done it again and made another console with too much wasted processing power. It also comes with an impressive
We don't know much about the GPU except it is a 1.84 TFLOPS an AMD next-generation Radeon. But from the amount of TFlops we can tell 1 thing as PC enthusiasts...The PC has already beaten the PS4 I'm not bragging that's just the hard truth. So lets first talk about the ps3
It was realised in November 2006 550mhz 256MB video card and 256MB RAM.
So in the PC market during this time you could pick up a ATi Radeon X1650 XT PCI-E released one month EARLIER then the PS3 for less than half the price of the PS3 and 125MHz faster. It has now been 7 years and the ps3 was overtaken even before it was released, and most likely the PS4 will be out dated in a couple of months before release.
It's a sad but true fact that consoles are losing their flare if they already haven't and the PC while an ancient beast is still dominant because of its versatility. An Xbox controller can turn it into a console without any problems.
I'm not being a fanboy I loved the PS2 and thought all these people with high end PC's are all ignorant show offs but no when I built mine 2 years ago I thought of future proofing it for at least 5-6 years. Even games coming out now can't make it sweat. No lag ever on the PS3 I have noticed some. Consoles are a thing of the past and that is where they belong.
A lot more people these days are using mobiles to play games on the go so the console is not doing so good. Stay tuned for a review on the PS Vita

The Walking Dead: Episode 1 and Episode 2 Review
This is the same as the previous review, except it now contains scenes from part 2 with a review for episode 2.
EPISODE 1
By now i'm sure we have all seen the whole series of the walking dead on AMC. This game does not begin where the series does, in fact it starts way back, just when the outbreak began.
Your Lee Everett, the series begins with you in a police car on your way to jail for murder. Cut a long story short, police car hits a 'walker' losses control and you black out. You awaken to find yourself confronted with the dead police officer who is dead but alive (zombie).
Rather than being a quick action game like resident evil, this takes a more heavy rain approach where you have to make decisions and find ways to solve problems by finding items. In the above picture we need to get that screw driver. You are given a couple of options, the first is to smash it with your fist or the second is with an object. Attempting to do so with your fist fails, so you have to find an object to smash the window with.
The characters are all very comical looking, but don't think that this spoils the game, in fact it makes the game more enjoyable as instead of going all graphical you can appreciate the story and game play. Unlike most zombie games you can go everywhere and anywhere, not really in this game you have to follow a certain route, pick up items to help you solve problems and weapons to kill 'walkers'.
The game is very graphical and has no problem in delivering an impressive gore factor, along with very heavy swearing.
The screw driver we found earlier is now being put to good use.The combat relies on a cursor which you can move around the screen, here we are holding an axe, the cursor is red which means the walker is in range and we attack.
You do have a limited time to make the decision, failing to do so will result in death.
You are also left with decisions to make, some of them involve choosing who you save, which i'm sure will contribute to further episodes. Here we are left with a decision weather or not to help a girl who has been bitten kill herself.
Its obvious what decision was made, but we could have easily chosen to walk away from it.
Episode 1 is really short, only a couple of hours long, but it gives a good insight into the walking dead.
EPISODE 2
So as the title suggests, you are 'starved for help' which means you have run out of food for the group and you need to make some drastic decisions such as who and who not to feed. Everything you did in episode 1 has repercussions, so for example people you chose to let live are now with you and either making it harder or easier for you.
However the gruesome factor has not calmed down at all.
Here we have a choice to make, we can leave this guy behind or cut his leg off in an attemt to save him, you will see in a second how your choices come back to haunt you.
The choice I made here is obvious...
OUCH!!!!!
This walker that your poking the eyes out of is the guy you chose to save by cutting his leg off, as you can see he didn't quite make it and you've inevitably caused a huge commotion in your camp for bringing him back.
The game does not let us down when it comes to gore...
Another choice to make..Kill him or let him live?
The game plays like episode one, and is in no way a let down. These are short, but it is worth buying, in a way its sad knowing that it is only 5 episodes long.
You could easily play through 3 or four times and make different choices, ENJOY!!!!!!
Overall it is really fun to play, smooth game play. Looking forward to episodes 3-5

Max Payne 3 Review
When you see names like EA, Activision, Ubisoft you think sequel same shit, just different scenario well not with Rockstar, yet again they have made a game worthy of the Rockstar badge and not just some cheap shitty copy like COD MW.
So what do we have from Max Payne 3? We have a game with an in depth story, guns, blood what else could you want from a game? Well these days you need a lot more than just those, and Rockstar has not failed to deliver a stunner of a game.
This is the PC review of the game, we had to wait a lot longer than the console counter parts to come out, was it worth it? Well yes it was, with full DX11 support, graphics to make you drool and best of all a game that makes fire come out of the best of graphics cards.
Just a lovely sunset in the background about to be ruined by the sound of gunfire...

Lighting is amazing, and character models too.
The AI in this game is not dumb, in fact you can say quite the opposite, they hide when you shoot and sometimes if you stay in a place too long they flank you, and if your really unlucky in about a couple of seconds your flanked left, right and centre and then your in deep shit.
A really nice touch from the original Max Paynes is the bullet time, which slows down time letting you get a few shots to the enemies heads while ducking for cover
The camera follows your final bullet just before you kill the last guy, a really nice touch.
If you play through once, you want to do it again, and again trying each difficulty level as you go through. There is no shortage of weapons a or action and the game is really enjoyable from start to finish. This game is few of the ones worth paying money for, and the PC version is not just a cheap crappy port with DX11.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Review
You are part of a special squad known as Ghost's, you are after various arms dealers, weaponry etc the usual stuff. In the beginning this game seems awesome, something new etc, sadly its not, it has a few flaws some of which you can let slide others you can't.
If you ever played the Splinter Cell series while Sam Fisher had his whole suit with all the fancy gear, this game feels the same, plays the same and the graphics seem to be from back then too. Instead of the dark you have a camo suit which looks like its been taken straight out of MGS 3, well it probably was.
The AI is terrible, if you are passing by them they will detect your there, however if you have your squad mates infront of them and they walk right into them, no detection whatsoever. A lot of the time you don't have a choice in the matter of whether to be silent or guns blazing, on the occasion you do have a choice which is nice, but you would still rather be silent to stop reinforcements from showing up.
Apart from those negative points, it is still quite fun to kill time with, and reminds us of the good old days of sneaking about in Splinter Cell, using x-ray vision to see enemies through walls and sometimes use an LMG to shoot them through walls, you don't die very often but if you get gunned down your squad is never too far to rescue you.
Some clever weather effects have been implemented here such as sand storms, and you have no choice but to use your gadgets to navigate through it, at one point you loose your gadgets and have to navigate 'blind'.
All in all, this game gives you fun, action from start to finish and lets you choose whether you want to be silent but deadly or loud as hell. Being silent is harder as bodies getting discovered mess everything up, but the 4 team sync shot is a nice touch and helps reduce alerts.
I personally would not rush out to by this game, especially on PC as to me a lot of the game just looks ported over, clunky graphics don't help much either, it looks like it been a bit rushed. Although this game does support DX 11, Tessellation etc, it really does not feel any different, but if you like third person stealth shooters then it's worth playing.

I was waiting for a friend to post me Max Payne 3 for about a month, during which time I tried to find other games to entertain me, the only game I figured worth trying was ghost recon. Review will be out in a couple of days as I think i'm close to the end of Ghost Recon.

Rome 2 Total War
The next month page of Australian mag PC PowerPlay features an image of the original Rome game along with a large 'II', a more than subtle hint that it's set to show off a sequel to the 2004 strategy gem.
Hopefully this will mean we will see one of the greatest Total War games back and better than ever before

Ps3 Firmware 4.20 Out Today
The update will add support for virtual surround sound functionality when watching a Blu-ray movie using the official Wireless Stereo Headset.
Saved data management will be improved (options for group copying/deleting), and new options will allow you to set the amount of time that the system will wait before turning itself off automatically for [Video/TV/Music/Photo] and for [Game/Other Features].
Sony will also add volume levels for microphone "sidetone". As it explains; "System software update (v4.10) added a feature that enabled you to hear your own voice through the Wireless Stereo Headset when playing multiplayer modes. This type of audio feedback is known as "sidetone." Based on your comments, system software update (v4.20) will improve sidetone audio performance by giving you the option to select one out of five levels for microphone audio, or turn the feature off completely."
